What We Install

Commercial Network Services

From network design through installation and documentation — infrastructure your business can rely on.

Network Design & Assessment

We evaluate your space, device count, bandwidth requirements, and security needs before specifying anything. No over-engineering, no undersizing. Written design delivered for your approval.

Enterprise Switching & Routing

Managed switches and business-grade routers configured with proper VLANs, QoS, port security, and firewall rules. Not default settings — your environment.

Commercial Wi-Fi Coverage

Ceiling-mounted enterprise access points placed for full, even coverage. No dead zones in conference rooms, back offices, or corners. Designed for device density, not just square footage.

VLAN Segmentation

Staff, guest, IoT, and security device traffic isolated on separate VLANs. Guests can't reach your internal systems. Cameras and access control are isolated from the business network.

Multi-Floor & Multi-Suite Coverage

Wired uplinks between floors, access points per floor designed for overlap-free coverage. We coordinate with building management for riser access where needed.

Complete Documentation & Handover

Network diagram, device inventory, VLAN assignments, and IP scheme all documented and delivered. Your IT vendor or next hire can pick this up and understand it immediately.

Why It Matters

Common Problems vs. Enterprise Results

Most small business networks fail not because of the internet connection — but because of the equipment and configuration behind it.

Common Business Network Problems

  • Consumer router in a closet trying to serve a 10-person office
  • Guest and staff traffic on the same network — security exposure
  • Dead zones in conference rooms and corner offices
  • No documentation — only the person who set it up knows what's going on
  • Network grinds to a halt when security cameras or AV equipment floods bandwidth

What Enterprise Networking Delivers

  • Managed switches and business-grade routing — designed for your user count
  • VLAN isolation for staff, guest, cameras, and IoT — no cross-contamination
  • Access points placed for even coverage across every area of your space
  • Complete network documentation — diagram, device list, and configuration notes
  • QoS and traffic shaping keeps critical traffic moving even under load
Our Process

How a Commercial Network Project Works

Four steps from site survey to a fully documented, production-ready network.

01

Site Survey & Requirements Gathering

We walk your space, count users and devices, assess existing infrastructure, and identify coverage requirements. Written network design delivered before any work begins.

02

Infrastructure Planning

Switch, router, and AP locations determined. Cabling requirements confirmed (we can do cabling and networking in a single project). VLAN architecture and IP scheme designed.

03

Installation & Configuration

Equipment installed, configured, and tested. VLANs set up, SSIDs configured, firewall rules applied. Typically 1–2 days for a standard office.

04

Testing, Documentation & Handover

Full coverage test, speed test per AP, failover tested. Network diagram and documentation delivered. Your team trained on basic management tasks.

FAQ

Common Questions

A small office network (10–20 users, 2–3 APs, managed switch, and business router) typically runs $3,000–$7,000 installed including equipment. Larger offices with more APs, multiple VLANs, and complex routing run higher. We quote per project after a site survey — office environments vary too much for a flat rate.
We install primarily Ubiquiti UniFi and Cisco Meraki for commercial environments. UniFi is cost-effective and highly capable for most small to mid-size offices. Meraki is preferred when centralized cloud management or MDM integration is a priority. We specify based on your needs and budget, not brand preference.
Usually yes. For small offices, we stage the new configuration off-hours and cut over during a planned window — typically less than 30 minutes of downtime. For larger or more complex environments, we plan a phased transition. We coordinate the cutover time with you.
Yes, guest VLAN and SSID setup is standard in every commercial installation we do. Guests get internet access, nothing else. Your internal shares, printers, and servers are not accessible from the guest network.
Yes — this is how we prefer to work. Cabling and networking designed and installed together eliminates the coordination problem between two vendors and ensures the cabling infrastructure is spec'd correctly for the networking equipment. Most of our commercial projects include both.

Setting Up a Home Network Instead?

Residential network projects focus on dead zone coverage, home office setup, and smart home segmentation — simpler scope but still worth doing right, especially in thick-walled NYC buildings.
