Move and relocation · NYC and tri-state

Office move? We handle the cabling and the low-voltage side.

Cabling to pull, cameras to remount, access control to set up again, network to re-stage and AV to rebuild. We plan it with your GC and IT, and can cut over on a weekend so you open Monday as usual.

What a move involves 05

The low-voltage side of any move.

Every move touches every system. The sequence matters.

01

De-install at the old space

Cameras, access hardware, intercom panels, Wi-Fi and AV removed and protected for transport.

02

Cabling at the new space

New runs where needed: data, cameras, doors, speakers and displays. Fluke tested before equipment goes in.

Call earlier than you think

The best time to call is before the walls close.

Cable paths and camera and door locations are easiest to build in while the new space is designed and the walls are open. After the walls close, the same work costs more.

Two trades, one move

We work alongside your GC and IT.

Most moves involve systems we did not install. We document them before they come off the wall.

Every system we move

Each hub below covers that system in detail.

How we coordinate

Clear scope boundaries in writing and a shared schedule. If your GC wants to be the single point of contact, we run through them. If your IT provider owns certain items, we hand those over cleanly. We coordinate with your ISP too.

Repair or replace

Move it or replace it.

Worth moving

Most cameras, access hardware, switches, Wi-Fi and AV move well with the settings brought across.

Better replaced

Gear at end of life, or that does not fit the new layout. The move is often the cheapest moment to replace it.

The repair visit 04

How a move goes.

Four stages, aligned with the build-out.

01

Pre-move planning

We walk both spaces, inventory what is coming, design the new layout and set dates with your GC, IT and operations.

02

Cabling during build-out

Cable pulled while the walls are open, coordinated with the GC and electrician.

03

De-install and move

A short window at the old space to remove and protect equipment, timed with the move.

04

Install, test and sign off

Everything installed, set up and tested at the new space, documentation delivered and your team shown anything new.

Office move FAQ.

Earlier than most people do. Ideally while the new space is being designed, so cable paths and device locations go into the construction plans. If the walls are already closed, we can still do it, it just takes more work.
In most cases, yes. Cameras, access hardware, switches, Wi-Fi and AV usually move well with their settings. We tell you which pieces are worth moving and which are better replaced.
With clear scope boundaries in writing and a shared schedule. If the GC wants to be the single contact, we work through them. If your IT provider owns items like the firewall, we hand those over cleanly.
Yes. We de-install Friday evening, install over the weekend and test before Monday open.
It depends on size and complexity. We walk both spaces and quote before any work, so you know the number before you sign.
